Character Description and History

Native of a small village out of Waterdeep, Deianira was taken to the temple of Lathander in the city by her father to be kept safe by the raiding parties of ogres that, at the time, plagued the countryside.

She grew up there, following the normal course of studies provided by the temple but, contrary to most of her schoolmates, decided to stay and become a novice.

Growing up in the temple caused her a growing sense of unease, the need to go out and see the world, to do things (and possibly smash a couple of ogre heads on the way).

Noticing this, her superiors marked her as an adventuring priestess, to be set of (with great advantage to their peace of mind) as soon as suitable escort came along.

In Deianira's senior novice year a young warrior took service at the temple, steady and strong it seamed the ideal choice and a few trial missions were given to the couple. The partnership went well (but for poor Brandimarte's emotional state) and the missions became increasingly frequent and complex. During one of these the two got lost and met the Black Roses.

They have been together ever since.
