And we finally have Spin A Yarn 2006! At least the first part, anyway... As more parts come out, I'll update this thread -- unless someone beats me to it.

Intro
Every Revel a Masterpiece (part 1).
Every Revel a Masterpiece (part 2).
Every Revel a Masterpiece (part 3).

Damn straight it is!

For some of us, books are as important as almost anything else on earth. What a miracle it is that out of these small, flat, rigid squares of paper unfolds world after world, worlds that sing to you, comfort and quiet and excite you... Books are full of the things that you don't get in real life - wonderful, lyrical language, for instance, right off the bat. - Anne Lamott, Bird by Bird

Sorry but... what is a "Spin a yarn" ?
I only found the translation of "a long story" !
Is it a story wroten by several persons with the help of a real author ? Where each of the "writers" write at their round, one after the other... what we call in french a "cadavre exquis" ?

Thanks a lot.

P.S. : why "2006" ?

It's a story Ed creates every year from the Gencon seminar that takes place at Gencon. The audience tosses out phrases to him and he turns it into the story. The WOTC archives should have the Spin a Yarns going back to 2000 or 2001.

We now have an intro and part 2. I put the links to both in the first post, to keep things neat and simple.

Finally! I was beginning to wonder whether the Lady Hooded One had something to hide. *smirk*
