I noticed that the "Sage Advice" column at WOTC's site now not only has our own beloved Sage of Shadowdale as the figurehead, but on the banner above the question Elminster is now joined by a Hathran (artwork from the Player's Guide to Faerun).
Guess that our Realms "iconics" just sort of exude knowledge and lore, eh?
