can anyone tell me as of 1374 where the Art Blade is? By the way how did the New Coronal of a ruined Myth Drannor (post last Mythal) end up with the rulers blade? When exactly did the Srinshee become a Chosen of Mystra?

If I am not mistaking, Lost Empires of Faerun mentions something about the 3 elf blades.

*scanning my books briefly*

p. 158 - on the Art Blade:

The blade was lost at the Battle of Stars Shining in 741 DR when Spell-Major Josidiah Starym sacrificed himself to break the army of yugoloths storming the school of magic in the city of Myth Drannor. Some sages believe that Josidiah along with the sword was transported to Dweomerheart or Arvandor, but no evidence exist to support these theories.

About ruler's balde it is mentioned that the Srinshee was keeping it. Besides that I have no clue how it ended up in the hands of the new ruler of Myth Drannor. I don't recall anything said about such an event in the Last Mythal trilogy.........

This is all from my memory but I think the last person who had her hands on the ruler's blade was the Srinshee and she vanished with it when she was dissappointed in the elves of Myth Drannor who had a lot of power squabbles/struggles because many aspired to become the coronal of Myth Drannor (by wielding it)and failed as the sword did not accept them.
When the Srinshee grew tired of that she claimed the blade herself (and it accepted her without doing any harm) but not to become coronal but to recreate the ruler's tower (may need correction here) in a stunning display of high magic.
The people witnessing that were left dumbfounded and amazed and I think the Srinshee wanted to return the blade, once the Myth Drannans were ready for that.
So it is probable that the Srinshee returned the blade to Ilsevele Miritar herself, if they don't weave a big story on how that happened in some ther fashion.

I do also think that this very event was actually described in one of Rich Baker's novels of the Last Mythal Trilogy (I guess it was in a prologue as those seemed to refer to the "distant" past in Myth Drannor)

As I said this was purely from my memory and I have not read this for a while but I am fairly sure that it happened as I "said".

Correct me loremasters ;).

Cheers,

What Behest said is in line with the Lost Empire of Fearun sourcebook. The story is written in detail in the 2nd. Ed. Sourcebook Fall of Myth Drannor, p. 6 ff. However, this is the important part:

After claiming the ruler's blade for herself she shouts magically enhanced to all in Myth Drannor:

"'I have proven worthy, but . . . Coronal I will not be. I shall not rule from the Throne but from the Heart.
"Look not for me to rule the realm, people, or Court. Look for me to rule war and hate with peace and love.
"When the dream truly becomes your own, I shall return. When elf and N'Tel'Quess alike truly accept the gift, I shall return.
"When Oacenth's Vow is fulfilled in the stars above and below, I shall return.
"When I am wanted truly, I shall return. When I am needed truly, I shall return.
"Peoples, attend me. Look ye upon my work and dare to hope.'
The golden Ceremony Sphere now pulsed with ancient magic along with the crackling energy of the elfblade the Srinshee now bore. Golden lightning arced between her hands and the blade as she launched it downward into the rubble of the Rule Tower. All assembled gasped as the blade rose as it did in ages past, and the Rule Tower grew anew beneath it! The rubble seemed to leap back into place, mortared by golden energy. In a moment that spanned lifetimes, the Rule Tower stood restored beneath the feet of the Srinshee and the High Mages.
The golden energy now receded upward, leaching itself from the stones to collect in the Sphere, which slowly rose as well. Now, however, the Sphere was elongating into a diamond shape, which stood near to dwarfing the Rule Tower, and the Srinshee placidly floated at its center, surrounded by the quartet of chanting High Mages. As the magic crystallized and became more a diamond with passing moments, the glow grew brighter, and gold energy flashed about Myth Drannor like no other. The mythal itself reflected the glow and sent its own arcane lightning into the crystal itself. When the chanting of the High Mages reached a crescendo, lightning of all hues, colors, and scents flashed along the outer edges of the mythal and arced along and into the crystal. With a resounding roar of one hundred thunders, the golden Diamond Tower (as it became legend), the Srinshee, her High Mages, and the Ruler’s Blade of Cormanthyr disappeared from mortal realms."

Hmmm...that's probably a secret. To us, and to the Realms.

You're guess is as good as anyone else's! It hasn't been explained at all.
