Note: I'm not a lawyer but I don't think anyone would have an issue with a name like that..... It's not the first time I've seen boards with a name like that, especially on the online site that I used to frequent, where they hosted online games.

For some of us, books are as important as almost anything else on earth. What a miracle it is that out of these small, flat, rigid squares of paper unfolds world after world, worlds that sing to you, comfort and quiet and excite you... Books are full of the things that you don't get in real life - wonderful, lyrical language, for instance, right off the bat. - Anne Lamott, Bird by Bird

A single word can not be copyrighted.

A single word can be trademarked, however I find no indication that faerun holds a trademark.

"Small beings can have small wisdom," the dragon said. "And small wise beings are better than small fools. Listen: Wisdom is caring for afterwards."
"Caring for afterwards ...? Ker repeated this without understanding.
"After action, afterwards," the dragon said. "Choose the afterwards first, then the action. Fools choose action first."

There are also fair use by the public. The forum is considered a Fansite, so there are more liberal guidelines.

Just as long as you don't put up a fansite for Star Wars. =) George is a bit to protective of his trademarks.

Stem the Tide Takes place in Mistledale.
Dark Curtains - Takes place in the Savage North, starting in Nesmé. I wrapped my campaign into the Hoard of the Dragon Queen, but it takes place in 1372 DR.

Especially if it is "officially" spelled 'Faerûn' these days. Therefore I don't see a problem, even if WoTC would trademark the word later on.

Yes this is the second time this question has been asked

I don’t see a problem with the name, but staling the logo and change it a little could be..
