The FR comics, Powers & Pantheons, For Duty & Deity, Cloak & Dagger, Dragon #246. I believe she made a appearance in Steven's Blackstaff. Lost Empires.
The Dragon article has the best info on her besides the comics. |
For some of us, books are as important as almost anything else on earth. What a miracle it is that out of these small, flat, rigid squares of paper unfolds world after world, worlds that sing to you, comfort and quiet and excite you... Books are full of the things that you don't get in real life - wonderful, lyrical language, for instance, right off the bat. - Anne Lamott, Bird by Bird

I didn't reply because it was pretty much covered. I am a fan, but really, the comics are the place the look. |

It's been a while since I read the comics, so I'm going from memory...
Her dad was a mage, Ostus Agrivar. Her mom was a drow, who apparently seduced Ostus and then abandoned the baby in Shadowdale.
The baby was a normal looking blonde half-elf, but she had this dark birthmark. The birthmark turned out to be a manifestation of her mother's evil, and started growing more powerful. A shaman tried to save the young half-elf's life by separating the evil from her in a ritual, but the evil got away from him. It eventually formed into a dark-haired drow named Kilili. The half-elf was named Cybriana.
Cybriana grew up normally, and became a mage herself. But then her arm started turning to crystal every time she cast a spell, so she was told to find this Waterdhavian paladin named Agrivar.
She found him, and they all got sucked into this plot by a nastybad named Imgig Zu. Imgig and Kilili were working together to try to free his imprisoned people. He was defeated, and in the process, Cybriana and Kilili made physical contact for the first time. This caused them to merge. The new being called herself Kyriani.
They later split back apart, and were rejoined again. That was when she went from being a brown-haired babe to a dark hair with a silver/white stripe babe. This was also a more complete merging than the previous one, so hopefully it won't happen again.
As for her relationship with Selūne... Selūne was, for her own reasons, running a tavern in the Dock Ward, called Selūne's Smile. She appeared as a middle-aged matronly woman named Luna. Kyri and her friends spent a lot of time at that bar, and Kyri was, IIRC, one of the few to figure out that Luna was Selūne. And then came the ToT, when Shar came to Waterdeep, posing as Selūne, and nearly convinced the real Selūne that she was crazy. Kyri and friends rescued Selūne, and she went back to doing the goddess gig full time. After that, she gave Kyri the tavern. As a close personal friend of the goddess, Kyri has some serious pull at the House of the Moon in Waterdeep. |

Ok thanks Wooly
Im designing another weapon of legacy called Searing kiss which has a power that splits blended blooded creatures into 2 creatures and wanted to see if there was anything in Kyrianis story that would be useful |
