Nice pictures.

I liked that myself and the art looks quite good. Hopefully it'll remain good.

Hi:

The latest solicitation for Worlds of Dungeons & Dragons is up on the DDP site, with the cover for the second half of "Elminster at the Magefair."

Nice, I can't wait to see actual comic.

looks amazing

When hinges creak in doorless chambers and strange and frightening sounds echo through the halls, whenever candlelights flicker where the air is deathly still, that is the time when ghosts are present, practicing their terror with ghoulish delight.

Yes. The trades will include three issues of the 48-page comic. The first trade will include issues #1 and #2, plus the stand-alone Eberron comic Eye of the Wolf.

The first issue sold well. The second issue is at the printer and should be ready soon. After that, the issues should be coming out more regularly (meaning the trades will, too).

Cheers,
Jim

The first trade should be out before too long. I'm writing a foreword for it. As soon as we have an ETA for publication, I'll let the board know. The third issue, which has the first half of Jeff Grubb's adaptation of "Elminster at the Magefair," should be off to the printer pretty quickly, too.

Cheers,
Jim

Hi:

Issue #2 of Worlds of Dungeons & Dragons hit the stands today. It should be available at your local comics retailer. The issue contains the second half of the adaptations of the Realms story "Dark Mirror" and the Dragonlance story "The Legacy."

Cheers,
Jim

I picked up issue 2 of WoD&D last week. I was expecting not to like it, but I really did. I'm really looking forward to Elminster at the Magefair btw.

Here's what's been announced so far, with writers where you might know them:

Issue #3 (out next week, I believe)
Realms: "Elminster at the Magefair" part 1 of 2 (script by Jeff Grubb)
Ravenloft: "The Rigor of the Game" (script by James Lowder)

Issue #4:
Realms: "Elminster at the Magefair" part 2 of 2 (script by Jeff Grubb)
Dragonlance: "A Stone's Throw Away" part 1 of 2 (script by Stan!)

Issue #5:
Dragonlance: "A Stone's Throw Away" part 2 of 2 (script by Stan!)
Eberron: "The Weight of Water"

Issue #6:
Realms: "Guenhwyvar"
Ravenloft: "Caretaker" (script by P.N. Elrod)

Issue #7:
Dragonlance: "Raistlin and the Knight of Solamnia"
Dark Sun: "Hunt's End"

Issue #8 will have another Realms story in it, scripted by the original author.

Cheers,
Jim

Good list. I like the inclusion of a Dark Sun story. Hopefully, I'll see the Greater Treasure in their somewhere
