Hi all, I've been trying to work on a cleric character, and I was trying to build up the amount of turn undead turns I have in one day. I was curious if anyone had any items that I could reference or armor or whatever you can think of. If I can reference it in a book hook me up with what book and page number.
i.e. Libris Mortis pg 78
" Nightstick: This black rod ...is able to turn or rebuke undead...four more uses...per day."
I'm not looking to up the power of my turn ability, just the number of times I can cast it. Thanks for all the help in advance.

how about a special holy symbol, presented to the character for some outstanding actions performed, while serving the church. this holy symbol could possibly provide some minor enchantments of maybe a +1 AC bonus and an extra turning ability of x3 per day. |

IIRC, in the 3.0 Defenders of the Faith, there is a holy symbol that will give extra turnings, etc...... |
Ack! I seem to have too much blood in my coffee stream!
When did 'common sense' cease to be common? |

That sounds like a resonable idea, I will run it past my DM hopefully he will allow it. Thanks, Scererar
Kas, thanks for the reference, I will check that out too! |

Despite Turn Undead not being so great on it's own (especially at high levels, though this is somewhat helped by the alternate rules in Unearthed Arcana) the slew of new feats allowing you to make use of this ability can make for some interesting characters. |

Ergdusch, I will definitely look into those books.
Victor thanks for the link.
Kaladorm, thats what I'd like to do, mostly for the Divine metamagic feat with quicken... i don't understand it completely yet, but I'm still new, so it's all gravy. |

AS far as I understood the 3.0 rules, the metamagic feats only aplly to the spells (arcane and divine) but not to the supernatural or spelllike abilities a character has.
So kaladorm might be talking about something different...... |
