I just write this topic to get more ideas what I can do in my campaign  So everyone is free to give their comments.
In my campaign, every character has a reason to get a life as an adventurer. One of my party-members is an Aasimar woman called Grace. (sorceress level 8).
When Grace's powers started to manifest she was raised by a kind old lady called Ekoj. A few years later Ekoj became the victim of a cruel murder and Grace was shocked when she found the body of her mentor. She became upset and confused when it turned out that her older cousin Cedric was involved in the murder. Investigation turned out that Cedric was converted to the faith of Cyric and was fled before the "law" had the opportunity to catch him. After Ekoj's death, Grace got nightly visits of the ghost of her former mentor. Tormented by a false fear of guilt, she left the Dales to look after her cousin, to learn why he did the evil act.
Later she learned that Ekoj was a troubled woman. Ekoj was born in Calimshan and there she was one of the concubines of an evil pasha. For a few years she was the favourite woman of the pasha, but when she became pregnant of her firstborn, the pasha looses his intrest in her. He became obsessed with another younger girl. Fearing for her live and the live of her child, Ekoj tried to flee. During her escape she had the misfortune to get seperated with her child
A child she never saw again. Years later .. the evil pasha made a pact with "the church" of Cyric (Cyric is/was particular popular in Calimshan). He granted the church (infact one of the cells) power and asked to search and murder his runaway concubinne. (what happened)
At this moment the party is on their way to Luskan where they think they will find Cedric. Cedric is unaware that Grace is looking after him (the murder is about 2 or 3 years ago).
Do you guys have more ideas for a nice plot? something that can happen in Luskan? Should I use Cedric as an evil madmen, or a a young mans who was misleaded by the foul forces of evil? A man with the change to redeem himself?
