That's a really subjective question. Some of us love them, some of us don't. The general opinion seems to be that the books are good, but YMMV (your mileage may vary). |

I thought the books were generally quite good (and I rarely enjoy FR or most other fantasy novels) thanks to some interesting characters.
However, I didn't enjoy the overall plot idea very much and have to admit that I won't be including the events in my own FR campaigns. |
