I was wondering if anyone knows much of anything about Azuth and his clergy. I'm in the process of writing a book that invovles you guessed it Azuth, Goblinoids, and Orcs. I plan on submitting the story to WoTC hopefully they'll like it, but I need good info on this subject matter. I own something over 90% of 3rd/5.5 edtion material and I've read most of the Novels and I'm not worried about spoilers, can't really spoil a good story any way. Thanks in advance

You likely want to find a copy of Faiths & Avatars and Secrets of the Magister, for quality Realmslore regarding Azuth and his clergy. They are both 2e FR accessories, and unless you're interested in purchasing PDFs of these tomes from paizo.com for just $4US, I'd suggest you try nobleknight.com for printed versions of these books.

There is also some (small) bits concerning Azuth in Volo's guide to All things Magical if I remember correctly. That one is a free download from Wizards page. Powers & Pantheons, the second of the 2ed. god-books has a few mentions of Azuth in the section about Savras; it is not much, but the book is almost as good as Faith and Pantheons and you should find plenty of use for the book as a whole if priests and gods of the Realms is your thing.

As to a submission, your best bet would be via Dragon magazine with Paizo, instead of WotC.
Since WotC tends to have a very closed door policy.

For more on the gods of orcs and goblinoids; see Monster Mythology. Which is a very excellent sourebook even though it's not officially Forgotten Realms.

And if the PCs DO win their ways through all the liches to Larloch, “he” will almost certainly be just another lich (loaded with explosive spells) set up as a decoy, with dozens of hidden liches waiting to pounce on any surviving PCs who ‘celebrate’ after they take Larloch down. As the REAL Larloch watches (magical scrying) from afar. Myself, as DM, I’d be wondering: “Such a glorious game, so many opportunities laid out before your PCs to devote your time to, and THIS fixation is the best you can come up with? Are you SURE you’re adventurers?” -Ed Greenwood

Yes it does seem as though WotC has a closed door policy about new authors to the forgotten realms world. I wonder what they'll do when all the current authors are all gone? Gulp! No offense out there meant to any authors.
