Hello all! It's been quite a while since I've done more than lurk hereabouts, and I've come with a request. I'm currently involved in a nice bit of RPing, and I need extensive information on the layout and daily life of Blackstaff Tower. I've read Blackstaff, but I'm looking for more detailed information. Apprentices, teachers, normal activities, and anything else that I'm leaving out. Any input is welcome, and thanks in advance for the help.

The 3.5e Waterdeep sourcebook has since nice info on the tower and organization.
City System or the City of Splendors box set has a map of the tower. I think it's in City System. Or maybe it's in the FR Atlus sourcebook. |
For some of us, books are as important as almost anything else on earth. What a miracle it is that out of these small, flat, rigid squares of paper unfolds world after world, worlds that sing to you, comfort and quiet and excite you... Books are full of the things that you don't get in real life - wonderful, lyrical language, for instance, right off the bat. - Anne Lamott, Bird by Bird

There's a partial map to Blackstaff Tower (as well as some lore regarding its layout) in the Waterdeep module for the ToT.

That module is a very good one indeed, with a very detailed map of Blackstaff Tower.
Moreover, there are a few parts in "Elminster in Hell" that give information about Blackstaff tower. i.e. the seiling of Blackstaffs bedroom shows the clear stary night sky above Waterdeep, no matter what the real weather conditions are outside. |

I have none of those products. Where can I find a map of Blackstaff tower that is easily procured? |

You might want to try an online search. While I doubt you'll find the "official" map on the web, you might discover an FR DM's own interpretation of a map for Blackstaff Tower that they used in their campaign.
