ok, i have a number of questions... i hope someone can help me here guys. please if this isn't the right forum to ask this kind of questions or if i made mistakes in formulating anything correct me!
so, in the game i'm running, this character from chult has had his whole tribe abducted by luskan raiders, at least that's what his background says. can anyone think of a good enough reason why someone should want to go from the city of sails to chult by ship and take back slaves? when they also could have gotten them from calimshites, btw. i was thinking maybe some lich behind the arcane brotherhood wanted to experiment on some chultan, or some wizard needed components... i don't know.
it goes on saying that when the character arrives to luskan after this very long journey (about 3 years) he finds his whole tribe dead because of the cold. fine with me. cold, experimentation, poor treatment, whatever. but his little sister is missing, so he goes to look for her. he has a vision of grandfather tree and assumes the answer will be there.
now, where could his sister have ended up? i was thinking when shade enclave came back maybe they wanted to have some samples of current populations. so the zhentarim might have bought her and taken her to one of their brokers. maybe the shades might want to see if it's possible to infuse someone else with shadowstuff and make her a shade. how does it sound, reasonable? does anyone have any better idea? maybe she might be related to eshowdow and thus to shar somehow, but... how?
the character is approaching grandfather tree to ask, and he'll give some answer... but i'm not sure shade is the way to go.
also, in 1,372dr shade's mythal is broken, isn't it? do they have the karsestone? if yes, where do they keep it? do they already have a deal with waterdeep? are they already starting to blanket the glaciers with shadowstuff to melt them?
some more questions, why in most pictures i've seen fzoul chembryl has a gem on his forehead? that's not a tel'kiira right? and is he blond or red-haired? in the time of trouble trilogy he was described as red-haired. and the fact the scepter of the eye tyrant has become a relic of bane instead of iyachtu xvim might have changed its shape? because it was created with the symbol of xvim on top (hand with eyes on the back) but could they have reshaped it to look like something more appropriate to bane?
as you see, lots of ignorance here. i'd have a lot more questions but i'd say for the moment this post looks terrific as is. consider i have consulted all realmslore i've found, old accessories, the net, these forums... i hope someone can answer at least some of my questions, and anyhow please, if i posted in the wrong place or i'm tackling the problem the wrong way, do tell!
thanks to all of you, really desperate storyteller here
