i just wanted to ask everyone what thier Forgotten Realms Novel Collection looks like.

i myself have all 134 published Novels, along with the Trade Paperbacks of Spellfire ,Crown of Fire(and Hand of Fire) but thats not a re-print, i have the Dark Elf Trilogy Collectors Edition(Hardback), Icewind Dale Trilogy CE (Hardback)Legacy of the Drow CE(Hardback),and Cleric Quintet CE (Hardback). also i have book 1 and 2 of The Forbidden Sands of Anarouch Graphic Novels. All books that came out in hardback, i have in hardback.

im not counting my RPG stuff cuz its kinda hard to call collecting when they get so much use.

my pride and joy is my Novel Collection, i started collecting the books when there were about 25-30 of them out.

also i was wondering to anyone else that has ALL of the novels, did u start collecting back when there wernt very many books or did u start late and have to search ebay and all that to get the books?

also if anyone is attempting to collect all of them i have a Check List i can send u in MS Word format that has all the novels ever published in order of publication date, along with all future novels that have been announced so far. just email me

I have all FR novels to date. I didnt buy duplicates like when TSR released The Legacy as a hardcover, then a trade paperback (hardcover size) then yet again as a standard paperback. I have all the Paths of Darkness novels as hardcovers, also bought all the Collectors hardcover volumes for Icewind Dale, Dark Elf, Legacy of the Drow and Cleric Quintet. However, i DIDNT get any of the Elminster Series in hardcover, i have them all in paperback (dunno why, im sure there was a reason at the time ). I have two copies of "Cormyr:a Novel", one hardcover and one paperback (i bought the paperback when i glanced sight of Ed Greenwood at GENCON last year so he could sign it ).

I also have the first 2 issues of Forbidden Sands of Anauroch and all the other Forgotten Realms comics (cant remember how many issues, something like 20).

Now im just pondering whether or not to get the hardcover or paperback versions of The Hunters Blades Trilogy!

D'oh! You mean there's a 'big' version of the Legacy? not just the basic hardcover and paperback editions? Gah... dagnabbit and here i thought i had all the Drizzt books covered... bleh... as for what my collection consists of... well... i'd probably be better off listing which books i don't have... heh... and which i need better copies of and such... think i need a good 64 some books including books that aren't out yet, and those that i just need better conditioned copies...

Oh... and the checklist would be nice... heh... esp if it includes those novels with alternate covers... I think my e-mail's listed... can't remember though

I have 111 FR books, started collect them about 2 years ago. Right now I almost got everyone that's not out of print. I'll have to try find them on ebay.

With each post i grow wiser and with added wisdom I grow stronger.

okay... now that i rumaged through my 5-shelf bookshelf wall unit... which is almost completely full of novels stacked cover-faced up (as in... not in libraries where the book stands like | my books are stacked like = where the bindings are flat, not upright. anyways... for just novels (including the small 8-book 100-paged set of the double diamond thing) i have 151 books... but... 9 are alternate covers (including the first two shandril books), 13 are Hardcovers that i also have the paper back, 3 are in the dark-elf trilogy gift box... as for how many of the DIFFERENT novels i have... 123 novels

Ive been pondering over whether to get the Songs and Swords series of novels. I have all the original novels when there were first released in the Harpers series etc. but are they worth getting just for the new cover art (and to make my collection complete). From what i remember, the artwork isnt that great anyway.

On a similar note, I certainly prefer the old artwork of the Cleric Quintet to the new covers. IMO, the peeled back parchment is excellent and the actual individual cover art is much superior to the new cover art.

I have 58 . I started buying them 4 years ago and I don't have any duplicates . It's quite hard to find them here and even paperbacks are quite expensive here .

I have the Avatar trilogy, Prince of Lies, Crucible: Trial of Cyric the Mad, the Dark Elf trilogy, Baldur's Gate, Baldur's Gate 2: Shadows of Amn, and Baldur's Gate 2: Throne of Bhaal. I just started collecting these books this summer. I would have probably started reading them early, but until recently I didn't know they existed.

My collection is only 56 novels... Then again, I haven't been actively collecting them until a few months ago.
