Who is mad...err...angry?
And I didn't think I was sarcastic when stating that by the time Colson is of fighting age, i.e. 16-18 Wulfgar and Cattie-Brie would be too old to go adventuring...It is called MATH and COMMON-SENSE.
No, I am not a FR author, but does that mean I cannot go through the what-if scenario with a little humor?
I didn't tell you at any point that your opinion was wrong, I merely stated that it didn't add up because of above mentioned age implications. If you say the companions lack magical firepower, you are quite right. Is Colson the babe for the job? See above.
Your idea is similar to posing the question: "What if Rommel had fought at Waterloo for Napoleon?" this may be a little exaggerated considering the time frame, but it should get the point across. Why would you want to bother with such a question?
And please do me a favor, quit using net-speak etc. |

One takes someone more seriously if they have the respect to actually spell out words and make an attempt at the use of correct English grammar.
If one is foreign, that's a different story, of course.

"Fiends and Undead are the peanut butter and jelly of evil." - Me "That attitude should be stomped on, whenever and wherever it's encountered, because it makes people holding such views bad citizens, not just bad roleplayers (considering D&D was structured as a 'forced cooperation' game, and although successive editions are pointing it more and more towards a me-first, min-max game, the drift away from 'we all need each other to succeed' will at some point make it 'no longer' D&D)." - ED GREENWOOD |
