I am currently creating a moon elf sorcerer character who lives in Reitheillaethor, the wood elven settlement in the high forest. The Silver Marches book stated that it was on the banks of the Heartblood river near its northernmost bend in the High Forest, but I could not find its location on a map, so could someone tell me where it is in relation to another place in the High Forest? Also, I am aware that moon elves are not as common in Reitheillaethor, so how would a moon elf sorcerer fit into the society of this elven village?

I would be grateful for anyone who could provide some information, so thanks to everyone in advance.

The village is not depicted on the map provided with the Silver Marches acessory. I do believe it shows on he map of the North inside FRCS...

If the character is more attuned to nature, the 'wilder, more primitive' ways of the wood elves, there is no reason why he/she shouldn't fit in with the community. Don't expect 'civilized' items to be readily available. e.g. Books etc. will be scarce.

Thanks again for the information, Mumadar. I did not find the a map with the elf city in FRCS or SM, so I suppose I can just appromiximate the location.

as to your question about fitting in with society, you would. Sorcerers (SP?) are Elf's favorite class (According to the PH) All races of elves get along and are welcomed by each other, Except drow of course.

As to my question of how a sorcerer would fit in with the society, I wasn't asking if they would fit in, but how. (For example, would they have high social statuses(sp.)? Would they be looked up to for advice?) In my case, there could be an extra factor in this due to the fact that the character is a moon elf in a wood elf village where the population consists of only 8% moon elves, but I'm not aware if elves are racist to other kinds of elves.

Also, I think you may have confused sorcerers with wizards. If I recall correctly, the wizard is the elves' favored class. Sorcers gain spells more slowly, have no need to memorize spells, can learn spells themselves (without the tutelage of others), and their primary ability is Charisma.(just a little info so you can see the differences.)

Anyway, thanks for the info, The Mirt, but sorry I corrected most of it...I didn't mean to act unappreciatively of your kindness, but my post kinda looks that way...
