I'd like to see more of Arya from Ghostwalker, Ususi Manallan (One of my favourite chars), Mystra/Midnight (Portrayed well, of course), and Elaith Craulnober.
A few months ago, there'd be Shoudra Stargleam, and Faeryl Zauvirr also appearing on this list, but then I read Two Swords and Insurrection. I actually hurled Insurrection across the room, where it hit the wall and damaged the spine. I had to buy a new copy...

Dwalimor Omen & the crew of "The Realmsmaster" appeared in the "Forgotten Realms" comic (from DC?. I agree that a novel featuring them would be great!
Also, I know he's dead - but I'd love to read a novel about "Shield of Justice" from War of Tethyr, detailing his history.

The more I read about 4FR, the more depressed I am.

She is the apparent protagonist of the upcoming novel Darkvision.

Hello folks, I'm new. Very glad to have found this forum. Not too many Realms Fans in my neck of the woods. I don't get to discuss this stuff with anyone that understands.

Anyhoo... Something about the Character Nain from the blackstaff novel intrigued me. I'd like to know more about his service to Mystra.

I don't think I missed him from any of the other books...did I ?

No, Nain has appeared little in published Realms fiction.
He is a PC, once portrayed often by Ken Woods, who these days is too real-life busy running a highly-regarded microbrewery known as Black Oak, in Oakville, Ontario, to be part of Ed's increasingly-rare Realmsplay sessions.

He's got a write-up in the City of Splendors boxed set. He also had a cameo in Elfshadow.

I do like this bit about him, from the CoS boxed set:

wizard and current record holder for most resurrections of any citizen of Waterdeep

As well as Waterdeep and the North. Volo's Guide to Waterdeep. And Blackstaff. :)

For some of us, books are as important as almost anything else on earth. What a miracle it is that out of these small, flat, rigid squares of paper unfolds world after world, worlds that sing to you, comfort and quiet and excite you... Books are full of the things that you don't get in real life - wonderful, lyrical language, for instance, right off the bat. - Anne Lamott, Bird by Bird

Milady Hooded, if ye don't yet have a copy of Blackstaff, I'd be happy to include another signed copy in a box heading to Ed soon....

Steven, you darling!
I have a read-twice-through-now copy of BLACKSTAFF, and I *love* it. It sits on the shelf with ELFSHADOW and CITY OF SPLENDORS and ELMINSTER'S DAUGHTER in my "feels like the True Realms" section.
I'd love a signed copy, but surely (she purred) I can give you something in return for it?
Ahem. Ed hath apprised me of your bliss, so let me elucidate: a book, perhaps?

Pharaun Mizzrym i would love to see him again, and i would love to see more on the psionist that is Jarlaxe's number one man. I would also love to see more of Jander Sunstar my personal favorite, other than the serpent.

"Develop the latent abilities within you for that is your power alone. Psionics is the ultimate art of magic and you are its practitioner. Through lifelong dedication, strive to unite your will with your physical form to become one. Only through the unrestrained union of one’s mind and body can the magic of psionics truly be mastered. Throw off the yoke of any who would impose tyranny upon you. Likewise, do not ever force another to submit to your will. Free your mind, free yourself and you have only just begun the path to true psionic mastery. Free others, open their minds to the Invisible Art, and you will show them way to Auppenser."

More than any other characters, I'd like to see Belkram and Itharr again. Soon.

"That's right, hurl back views that force ye to think by name-calling - 'tis the grand old tradition, let it not down! Anything to keep from having to think, or - Mystra forfend - change thy own views!"

Narnra glowered at her father. "Just how am I to learn how to think? By being taught by you?"

"Some folk in the Realms would give their lives for the chance to learn at my feet," Elminster said mildly. "Several already have."

I wish RA Salvatore would do another book on Cadderly.

When hinges creak in doorless chambers and strange and frightening sounds echo through the halls, whenever candlelights flicker where the air is deathly still, that is the time when ghosts are present, practicing their terror with ghoulish delight.

That, I wouldn't mind.

Cadderly is what got me onto RAS's writing to begin with -- my introduction to RAS was through the Cleric Quintet. So I definitely wouldn't mind seeing another book (or trilogy) on Cadderly and the Soaring Spirit.
