How much truth is there to this quote. Also where can I find more information on the death stalkers it refers to?

hmmm... slain god of murder, wouldn't you be serving his portfolio when killing him? a paradox of sorts.
The greatest trick Ao ever pulled, is convincing Toril he didn't exist.
