However, here's the part that got this Waterdeep fan really excited:

quote:
The second novel under the contract will be a collaboration with Elaine Cunningham (author of DAUGHTER OF THE DROW and other novels), dealing with the city of Waterdeep. Greenwood confessed that he is especially "eager to get going on this one," due in large part to his admiration for Cunningham, "one of the Realms writers who's impressed me most."
"From the moment I saw the original manuscript of her first Realms novel, ELFSONG, I thought she'd somehow been reading my mind," Greenwood said. "The city of Waterdeep and many of its key characters, hitherto published only in a [Dungeons & DragonsŪ] game product, sprang to life looking, talking, and acting EXACTLY as I imagined them."

Elaith and Ed writing a novel together about Waterdeep! I definitely expect to see my favorite character, Elaith Craulnober, within it.

I bet Danilo Thann and Kelben Blackstaff with have to be there too. I hope Elaith would hurt anybody. LOL I love the city of Waterdeep and I can't wait until the book comes out!!!

May Melkor smile upon every spell you cast.

Yes, but I'm still giving priority to The Service of the Sword (bonus points if you know what that is without looking it up!) . . . but it wouldn't be exactly painful to shell out a little extra for a Cunningham novel.

Hell hath no fury like all of Candlekeep rising in defense of one of its own.

Download the brickfilm masterpiece by Leftfield Studios! See this page for more.
