I recently did a cosplay for the classic D&D arcade game, D&D - Shadows Ove Mystara. See the pictures here:

For those of you who don't know, this is a 2D sidescroller game, it's a great game, with classes available: Fighter(Melee), Elf(Melee+Magic), Dwarf(Tough+Melee), Cleric(Melee+Healing), Thief(Speed+Thievery), Magic-User(Magic). The characters fight their way through 9 chapters(I think) where they encounter monsters from goblins, kobolds, zombies, skeletons, and troglodytes, to a beholder, a lich, a manticore, a chimera, a displacer beast, and demons and dragons! There're treasure, hidden stuff, equipment you can make from collecting monster parts, the legendary Holy Avenger, and a lot of magic! A truly awesome game!
I'm a big fan of the mages myself (they're called Magic-Users in this game), and have planned this particular cosplay for a very long time. The default Black Mage's name is Syous, the alternate colour is the Green Mage D'raven.
Many people don't know but the 2 mages are different in that they have a partially different set of spells - not just different colour costumes. The Black Mage has Conjure Elemental, while the Green Mage has CloudKill. And the Black Mage's final spell is Meteor Swarm, while the Green Mage's final spell is Power Word Kill.
For those who don't know what is Cosplay, it's Costume+Play. Where people dress up as their favourite characters from any Game, Movie, Comic, Anime(Japanese animation), etc etc etc.
And the next Cosplay I'm planning will be Drizzt+Artemis!

Ah, yes. I've played through both of those D&D arcade games.
So which one were you dressed up as?
If it were me, I'd be the green guy. Gotta love that cool hat. |

| Yea I'm the guy in green. Though the Black mage got a lot more attention from the cool hair and the red eyes. |
