Does anybody have any good advice about printing out the various FR articles on the WotC website? For example, I printed out all the Perilous Gateway articles and they now take up a large ring-binder. Is there a more efficient way to do this?

Did you print out the entire page, or did you do copy the page's content, and then paste them into Word or another word processing program?
Anything interesting I see on that site, I copy it into a Word document. I prefer to do that, rather than maintain 8,000,001 links or printing the entire page.
Once you've got it into Word (or whatever), you can do things like play with font size and such, in order to print it out without killing so many trees. |

There is a "printer-friendly" version icon at the top right hand corner of most WotC web articles. Once pressed it brings up another window with just the article's content and none of the other aspects of the previous page -- like sidebars, title banners, and the like.

Yep, that is the link that I save to my various folders. I did at one time, try to keep an archive of all the stuff as Word files, but some of the stuff pasted strangely. |

I am up through 2003 archives, and its takes longer because I cut and paste everything in sections, because if I cut and paste the whole page, even on the "printer friendly" version, anything in boxes become problematic. |

I find that when doing a straight copy and paste, it usually puts everything in boxes... However, I then copy everything out of the boxes, drop down to just outside the box, and repaste it. Then I kill the boxes. It's a bit annoying to constantly have to do it, but it works. |

You're giving me deja vu, Wooly. The change in fonts for headings in a series of articles is annoying too - but I like everything to match.

10 courier new. :) It's the standard for most publishers. :) |
For some of us, books are as important as almost anything else on earth. What a miracle it is that out of these small, flat, rigid squares of paper unfolds world after world, worlds that sing to you, comfort and quiet and excite you... Books are full of the things that you don't get in real life - wonderful, lyrical language, for instance, right off the bat. - Anne Lamott, Bird by Bird

But if you hate courier? I use Times New Roman 10 myself, 8 for putting in titles and autor-names at the head or feet of the page, and sometimes for notations as well (Ed sure loves making footnotes). |

With the recent Uthmere articles and their copious footnotes, I've been removing the hyperlink and properly inserting the footnotes where they belong. |
