In Dungeon issue 128 (The one with the Fire Place level in it) theres another module called Shut-In. The adventure revolves around a small noble family (with 2 living female relatives) and Psyopathic Halfling.

Having read the module I though this would be a really cool low level adventure for starting a campaign in Waterdeep.

So far Ive thought of the following changes to the module to "Realmsify it"

Replace Dromdal family with the Thorp noble family

Switch Ceseli with Lady Hulmara Thorp

Switch Lady Araluna Dromadal for either the disowned Khorom Thorp (changing Araluna to a male character) or Hulameros (Who we dont know anything about)

Swtich Mikael Turner for Laskar Nesher

Switch Lord Drondal for Rhond

Peck could be swapped out for Qikna the murderer of Blackwell court

Anyone know anything about Rhond Thorp, Hularneros Thorp (There a bit of a blank slat at the moment) or Khoom Thorp (specficly why hes disowned)?

Comments? Suggestions?

I had thought to make Ceseli/Lady Hulmara Thorp a potential future love interest for one of the players

Well met

Excellent, Dargoth. Simple changes such as these make all the difference Careful, I may assign thee to performing this task on all future Dungeon issues

If thats an offer to pay for a Dungeon subscription then your on!

Having had a look at Champions Belt (the Age of Worms module in issue 128) I think you could quite easily move it to Hillsfar and run it as free standing module with the following changes

Swap Celeste out for a Harper agent (Perhaps using one of the NPCs from Champions of Valor)or even one of the Female Knights of Myth Drannor (Sharantyr, Jhessail Silvertree or Illistyl Elventree)

Replace Loris Raknian with either Maalthiir or Wak Rathar

Make Bozal Zahol a Cleric of one of the Chaotic Evil gods like Cyric or Talos or make him a Thrall of one of the Demon Lords

Replace the Apostle of Kyuss with a Glabezu or some other demon of a similar CR (13) alternatively if youve made Bozal a Thrall of a Demon Lord then you could replace the Apostle with an Aspect of the Demon Lord he follows. (see miniatures handbook)

Make Khellek a Red Wizard of Thay and Auric a Thayan Knight there from the Thayan in Hillsfar and are doing Maalthiir or Wak Rathar a favour in fighting the NPCs

Replace the Elves of the Arcane Ariga band with Drow, the drow are either Vhaerunian Drow from Cormanthor or there from Skullport (thanks to Paul Kemp we now know theres a portal between Skullport and Hillsfar)

Ekaym Smallcask is a Noble or Merchant from either Cormyr, Sembia or Melvaunt his Elder sister Lahaka was either a Cleric or worshiper of Sharess

Replace Captain Okral with Jorgen Berginblade

Alter Joren and replace his druid levels with Cleric of Tempus (or Gargos) and change "Jorens Halberdiers" 3rd level clerics

Make Drusfan and Pharbol Duegar instead of regular dwarves

Make Korush and his Sapphire squad Tuigans

There will also be a conversion on the Paizo site for The Champion's Belt.

Those of you who want a brief preview (and have access to obscure sources) might want to review Polyhedron #93, page 4-6, for a preview of what it will involve.

I may go back through my old issues of Dungeon and see what generic modules are FR convertable

Would my fellow Scribes be interested in such a scroll?

Yes, most definitely! I don´t have the time to post anything atm, but that would be a reason for me to spend some more time at candlekeep!
