I would like to see three things: first a 3.5 update of the first two Undermountain box sets...in a super-box set format (if for anything to get rid of the lame idea of “a book with a weak-papered crappy tear-out maps to use”) With two source books, one based purly on the dungeons and the second with stat blocks on items, npc’s and whatnot...
Then a second a normal box set with all the 2nd Ed. “Lost Levels” converted to 3.5 with their adjoining maps and possibly a few new mini-levels
As the 3.5 Waterdeep book was the first book to give canon of the whole (general) layout I would then like to see a series of box sets each describing one of the levels (from top to bottom) with maybe a sub-level or two...and that the CR of each lower level gets worse and worse until Halaster’s final lair (and not the Volo ending )
Unlike Castle Greyhawk, the Tomb of Horrors or Night Below (to name a few great/super “dungeon crawls”) I think Undermountain is in a class by itself not for it’s size but for the multiple storylines going on through the dungeon...to me Undermountain is not a “dungeon site” but a separate, living region of the Realms...more like a city or small kingdom than a dungeon
P.S. I would also like those box sets not made up of the most premium materials (paper and ink) with the most expensive artists with full page renderings nor the maps top-of-the-line so the price of the box sets won’t be more than a day’s wages (at least no more than the $50 cost range, Canadian funds that is )

Not asking for much, are you? That said, I'd not be complaining about that. |

| If we could get a loads of Undermountain, all the better. It really is a region in and of itself. |

Well its now official where getting an Undermountain module in 2007
From Rich Baker over at the WOTC boards
"You'll be pleased to learn that we have an Undermountain adventure on the schedule for next year. There's a good chance that we will also have an Anauroch adventure which may or may not refer to Netherese ruins; too early to say much on that one yet."

| Interesting. Of all the places to make a module/regional sourcebook, Undermountain is probably the perfect fit. |

Those are great locales! |

| I wonder if they are going to do this as a strict FR product with its own format or if they are going to do the "Expedition to . . . " treatment to it. |

no! focus on undermountain plz! the only things we have for it are 2ed. anyway, i agree with Arivia- make it the WLD style. WLD wasnt so good bc it was so random and generic. ive actually had friends who played wld saying it was undermountain to new players. |

| Exactly, a 3E (3.5E) update to Undermountain is much needed. The online stuff is all n good but not everybody has access to the internet as much as we do :P |
