Sorry if I sound a little stupid, but i'm just struggling to grasp where we are currently in the Forgotten Realms in respect to the year.
It's hard to keep track lately for me because trilogies now seem to span over 3 years, with the author writing one book per year.
So with Richard Lee Byers trilogy, does it actually just take place in the Year of Rogue Dragons?
Then where does Richard Baker's trilogy come in? Is that after the Rage?
Sorry, i'm just confused. What is the novel which is set latest?

Richard Byer's takes place in 1373. Richard Bakers takes place in 1374. The current year for the novels is 1374, which is Richard Bakers novels. |
For some of us, books are as important as almost anything else on earth. What a miracle it is that out of these small, flat, rigid squares of paper unfolds world after world, worlds that sing to you, comfort and quiet and excite you... Books are full of the things that you don't get in real life - wonderful, lyrical language, for instance, right off the bat. - Anne Lamott, Bird by Bird
