Okay, if you look in the Web Enhancement for Faiths and Pantheons, it mentions what gods commonly have monastic orders and any special information about them. While other gods may have monks, according to the enhancement if they aren't listed as an order in the enhancement, there is no official order.
Helm's Hold was established by Dumal Erard, who if I not mistaken was a Monk. I would have thought that at least at Helm's hold there would be an order of monks to Helm, but perhaps this is the first Helmite sanctuary that attracted monks specifically.
Anyone know of any specific information or have any speculations?

That's been the assumption in my campaign. In fact I thought it made perfect sense until I noticed that part in the Web Enhancement saying that (by default) Helm didn't have an ESTABLISHED monk order. Perhaps if the monks are part of the Everwatch Knights that doesn't qualify as a separate monk order, hm?
At any rate, my step daughters half-ogre monk is a member of the Everwatch Knights, so there is at least one monk among them, lol. |

It's an ancient reference now (and not terribly accurate with regard to 3e rules [especially when you consider the issue of monks in 1e and 2e FR]), but in the Old Grey Box, it lists Helm as a god appropriate for monks. Nothing about an order is specifically mentioned though.
Other than this... you might want to ping Eric again, since I notice he hasn't yet answered your question in his scroll.
