Hey,

i have read here in the forum, that this trilogy is very good. But i have also heard, that Erevis is also in the Sembia Trilogy. So my question is, in which books he is and also what is the first book i must read. Thanks for the help!

PS: Sorry for bad english.

He is the main character of one of the stories in Halls of Stormweather, as well as the whole of Shadow's Witness, and makes appearances in all the remaining books of the Sembia series (which is 7 books, and thus a septet - not a trilogy) with a fairly promisiong role in Lord of Stormweather. In addition to these books, Paul S Kemp have also written a number of short stories about him for Dragon Magazine, these appear in #277 (Another Fame For Dawn[/]), #297 (And All the Sinners, Saints), and #301 (Cause & Effect). Finally, his short story in the anthology Realms of the Dragons ([i]Soulbound), also ties in with the overall arc of the Erevis Cale-trilogy.

My reccomendation would be to read all of the Sembia books before starting on the trilogy, it's a good read in its own right, and you get at least a slightly more full picture of Cale.

There is a rumour going around that I have found god. I think is unlikely because I have enough difficulty finding my keys, and there is empirical evidence that they exist.

I agree..Though I never thought of the Sembia series as a septet.Great wording. Also don't forget that Paul will be writing a new trilogy focusing on Cale as well. The first installment is due out in late 2006 I believe.Paul maybe able to help you on that.It is called The Twilght War.Sounds very interesting, and Paul says that it will be an RSE(RealmShaking Event).Very, very interesting. So read up just like Kajehase instructs so that you can be ready for it.
