New to the Realms and my players and I have decided to adventure in Aglarond as our starting point. The characters are a half-elf rogue and an elf druid. They have both decided not to be native to Aglarond, so I was thinking of having them encounter each other in the capital and then somehow end up in the Yuirwood, where they (hopefully) will integrate into a community and use that as their home base.
I have Unapproachable East and am in the process of getting Spellbound. What other resources are out there for Aglarond?
The Spellbound box is indeed a spendid source of information for this location. For an updated resource and a very fine tome on this region, take a look at Unapproachable East.
You could also try "The Simbul's Gift", which provides quite a lot of detail on the habits and culture of the Yuir elves (half-elves, really), and the Simbul's relation with them.
