Forget Ekhar Lorrent, they need Frank Pembleton! |

An near-illithid woman murdering a fishmonger...interesting and odd. This could be the fourth or third murder case in Waterdeep recently. |

You know . . . the tentacled faced woman news item sounds like the character my daughter wants to make up for my Skullport campaign (psychic warrior/flayerspawn psychic) . . . I hope she hasn't be e-mailing Ed secretly |

That would make it the fifth or sixth murder case in Waterdeep and strange, what is going on in Waterdeep nowadays, it seems that the Faerunians are too eager to rush to violence these days. What an unfair duel for the murderer, a dozen bounty hunters or so pouncing on one loner and no honor in such duels. If the murderer of merchants is to die, at least he should had died with dignity. |

So, in 217 words, Ed manages to give us an example of what ships can be called, the name of a good mercantile contact NPC, the nickname for the beach beneath one of the Torchtowers, as well as information on how sunken ships are dealt with in Waterdeep. Impressive |

Shame he couldn't do the same for his latest "Wizards Three" article in Dragon. By far his weakest FR effort to grace the pages of that magazine. I devour everything he writes but this piece was worse than decidedly average.

Well, that's cause I check the Forgotten Realms-site, and not the wizards site. *shrugs* And I figured Wooly needed something to keep him busy too |

*snickers* Actually, I didn't check either site -- I checked the Archives site, where all the new updates (save for stuff on the Books page) get listed. |

To me it sounds like Halasters Heirs are trying to discredit the Red Wizard Enclave. I wonder if Trobriands going to enter magic item and scroll market..... |
