I have recently read Dissolution and have just received Insurrection. I noticed that on each chapter header and on the bare cover of each novel is a rune (drow I suspect). Does anyone know what these runes symbolise? Im taking a guess the the rune on the first book represents Menzoberranzan the the rune on Insurrection is for Ched Nasad? Thats entirely a guess though.

Actually, those symbols are numerical power suffixes for sacred glyphs. Priestesses of Lolth use sacred glyphs to mark territory in the name of the Dark Mother. Anyone not a priestess in good standing suffers very bad effects if they get too close.
These symbols came from the old Drow of the Underdark accessory. Essentially, they are like drow numbers. The symbol on Dissolution basically means "one" or "first," the one on Insurrection means "two" or "second," and so forth.
If you have access to the product (most likely as an ESD download these days), you can find the symbols on page 107.

Yeap, I discovered this back when dissolution came out, was looking through my Drow of the Underdark Book just for nostalgic pourposes and noticed that the power suffix for 1 looked like the symbol on the cover of Dissolution. Kinda neat !!!!
