Well met

I would hereby like to take this opportunity to formally welcome three newly assigned moderators to Candlekeep.

These long-standing members, who give much support here at Candlekeep and provide a vast amount of knowledge and Realmslore to fellow scribes, as well as work on other aspects of Candlekeep (The Candlekeep Compendium, to name but one) now have moderator status.

So I hereby welcome Kuje, The Sage and Wooly Rupert, to stand with me to control this rabble aid ye all through the chambers of Candlekeep. As ye will notice, each moderator has a particular area of responsibilty. This does not limit them to that area, however, and we are all available to provide help to you for any part of the forum or the Candlekeep site itself, should ye need it.

So please join me in welcoming these fellow scribes to their new role ::raises a glass of mead::

Congrats to the three new moderators. I say that they are some of the several vasted skilled scribes here at the candlekeep and they really deserve to take the rank of moderator.

I'd like to thank Big Al for this opportunity.

I'd also like to congratulate my fellow scribes Kuje and The Sage for also being tapped for this.

And now I can properly react to people making hamster jokes...

You mean like the best hamster is one on a stick?

Any way at least you got a new title *wink* though not the custom one you sought some months ago.

Like to thank Alaundo as well. :)

For some of us, books are as important as almost anything else on earth. What a miracle it is that out of these small, flat, rigid squares of paper unfolds world after world, worlds that sing to you, comfort and quiet and excite you... Books are full of the things that you don't get in real life - wonderful, lyrical language, for instance, right off the bat. - Anne Lamott, Bird by Bird

Congrats guys! Keep up the good work.

"What's that," asked Mogget.
"Sardines," said Sam. "I knew they were standard rations, so I got a few tins for you."
"What are sardines?" Moggest asked suspiciously. "And why is there a key? Is this some sort of Abhorsen joke?"

When Big Al said our titles would change, I did ask if he could somehow work the word "mischief" into mine. For some reason, he never answered...

I was also hoping that would be the case. It would make explaining the reference all the more easier .

However, I'd like to also thank Alaundo (again ) for this opportunity. And I would also like to ask my fellow moderators -- Wooly and Kuje -- to stand with me in helping Alaundo to maintain Candlekeep as a "peaceful and secure society"...

And thank you to all the other scribes for their congrats. Remember, we're here to help you!

Oh, BTW Alaundo, I noticed our stars have changed colour.

When you first made the change-over, our moderator stars where the same colour as your stars. Is the colour change to denote the difference between the "Head Moderator" and standard "Moderator" positions?

So Alaundo, I've been wanting to ask this question since you first asked the three of us to come on-board as moderators... When do we each get our own Staff of the Irritated Moderator?

Hurray for Kuje, Wooly & Sage! Many warm congratulations to you in your new roles as moderators here at Candlekeep!

I hope the new robes are not to itchy for you. Will Alaundo require you to adhere to the Candlekeep dress code? I do think a monk's tonsure would look awfully funny on a hamster...

May you all moderate in good health for many years to come!

I felt that a light blue suited thy hair better Indeed, this is to distinguish between moderators and administrators of the forum.

Good Choices! Congrats.

And the best part, now that Wooly has a new office, I don't have to spend all day downwind of the Hamster litter box.

This means Alaundo can whip me even more and use one of those larger and more tailed ones, but it's a different one then the one he likes to use on THO. :)
