Hrm... okay... when i started reading this book like last week or so.. i think i noticed a 'minor' mistake... from between the time Corin meets Lhasha while being drunk... then rescuing her from "The Maces" and the 'battle' that breaks out... he ends up DROPPING his sword, and it was made known that it was left behind... sometime in the escape... yet in a chapter or two later when Lhasha offers him a job and he suggests moving ot a different location and she wnats to get her stuff, and he says he has all he needs... patting his clothes and then the RUSTY HILT OF HIS SWORD... hmm... WHEN DID HE GET THE SWORD BACK?!!?!?!?1? hehe... maybe i missed it... but i coulda sworn he noticed leaving his sword behind but wouldn't risk getting caught by the maces trying to retrieve it when everyone is trying to escape...

ah well... minor things i notice from time to time... least i'm not complaining about typos and such i've found in some of the novels... '-.-

That struck me also as I was reading the book. It is easily overlooked, since I loved the story. Although the mistake is glaring.

Wow! That has no saving throw written all over it.

I'm currently reading this one, and the mysterious reappearing sword really bothered me. I kept thinking, "Did I miss something? When did he get his sword back?" At least now I know I'm not crazy. Oh well . . .

It's not the only mistake the book has. The inn they stay at consistently changes names back and forth from the "Glowing Staff" to the "Golden Staff". Kind of annoying. Also Lord Rad pointed out the following in a different thread:

"1) Corwin uses a device to pry open metal bars on a warehouse chimney..... which is "several feet across", whereas they were told that Corwin would only just be able to squeeze through.....providing he didn’t wear his bulky armor!

2) Fendel hands Corwin a walking stick...which is "several inches round"...wow thats one hell of a thick walking stick. "

Whoever edited this one didn't do a very thorough job.
