The Neverwinter Nights 'offical' module was set in .... you guessed it The city of Neverwinter!
The whole setup of the offical game is FR, though its not 'canon' as folks say around here. They have just used the setting for their modules as backstory which is pretty much how I use it myself. So its no suprise that they would do more 'official' modules set in FR.

I don't know, it was a bit of a surprise to me to see them return to Faerun. When the whole premium module thing was first mentioned, lots of people on the Bioware forums were conjecturing and hoping for extentions of this or that characters story, or modules set in this or that area of Faerun, but the first three premium modules were all set in the "Biowareverse."

A thousand thank yous to KnightErrantJR for bringing this to my attention. I may just buy it today.
Has anyone played it yet? What do you think? Which parts of the Sword Coast are featured? |

Other than knowing that it was released, I'm not sure what it features. I may have to haunt the Bioware forums for a bit to see what is going on in the module. I must admit myself this is the first premium module I am likely to pick up. |

I had no interest whatsoever in the others, but this one I will definitely pick up. Looks like I know what I'll be doing tonight... |

Has anyone played it yet? If so, fill us in.
I hope there are several land based areas, other than Neverwinter itself. From the pictures seen, the majority seems underwater... |

I bought it today, I'm a couple of hours into it (you gotta love lazy sundays) and it looks good so far. It has more role-playing and feels more like Faerun than any of the other official campaigns. Several encounters are resolved with bluff/intimidate/diplomacy, and the npcs are more chatty than before. One of the villains was outright sneaky!
This may very well be the best NWN module so far, although the graphics are showing its age. I'll post more later (probably next lazy sunday ). |

I bought it Friday night, and played it off and on all weekend. It really feels like the Realms. It's actually pretty tough, I died quite a few times. There are some really cool ideas, after you're marooned for instance. Stripped of all your gear, you have to survive on just what you can scavenge and figure out how to best use what you find. I haven't played any of the other modules, so I can't compare it to them, but I like this module as much as the expansion packs. |

So, can you shave the hair of your back and make a rope out of it? |

That's probably the strangest question ever. No you can't, but now that you mention it, I wish that you could. |

Thank you, I do try However, if you've seen Pirates of the Caribbean it's less strange |
