You may, or may not remember this one time Troll, but I find myself back in these halls again. So I'll say hello to friends of old, and warm greetings to those yet to come; and hope someone might be able to help me catch up on any Realm shaking events that might have slipped my notice in my slumber.
Particularly, has there been any new rumors or information reguarding the pre-historic ages of the realms, the ancient saurian empires and such? Or perhaps more insights into the age of Netheril?

Tell me, are you aware of two recent releases for FR called Lost Empires of Faerun and Serpent Kingdoms? They cover some significant details on the pre-history of the Realms. There are numerous scrolls here already that discuss both of these tomes in great detail. I suggest you look into those for further discussion on such topics...
