You're welcome. I thought for sure Dargoth would already have it posted on here, but alas.... |

I was to busy doing the survey!
There was a real scary question in that survey to.... "How many D&D minis do you own?" |

Did you go outside their range of possible minis for that answer? |

Not that I own any, but one of the people I game with owns a lot. I like them for our table top games. Sometimes the paint is really messed up though. |

That's kinda cheesy... "Okay, we've got all the people we want to hear from, so the rest of you don't matter."
I mean, no, I don't expect them to leave the survey going for weeks on end... But only for a few hours? What were they looking for, three responses? |

Yeah that was quite fast as the survey didn't seem to be up there long. Perhaps one of the "official" message boards posted a link to the survey. |

I averaged about 750 minis, although that is, as Dargoth put it... an guesstimate. I'd likely fail my sanity check if I had to take the time to count them all... .

That's true. Too many years reading the works of HP Lovecraft .

Bah! I use my own homebrew gnomish stats for Rastromo "The Sage" Meradoc and any other gnomes PCs or NPCs in my campaigns. I've never liked the D&D basic statistical interpretation for the gnome race.
Therefore I don't suffer the penalty .

I guesstimated the same amount for my collection, and realized that I am truly crazy.
That's probably right around where I'm at as well. However, I would hate to count them. I really hope they come out with Gargantuan and then Colossal like they did with the Huge. |

I only bought the 'normal' miniatures (the ones they started the whole thing with)...but collosal and gargantuan sounds pretty cool

That sounds cool. I have yet to play the actual minis game, but we use the minis for regular D&D use. They're great, I really can't imagine playing without minis now, they add so much to the game. I also shelled out hundreds of bucks for a Dwarven Forge setup, man its cool. The only problem is, it takes up so much room I can't just leave it set up, and it takes forever to take down and set back up from week to week. |
