Indeed, my decision to pass on this month's gaming releases from WOTC has allowed me to keep more money in my pocket for next month.
Totally agree. With Waterdeep, the 'Champions' books coming up are just being released, there's plenty to buy. And then I don't even mention upcoming novels
Not only that, but there's another game system that the Sage and I like, and they've got some supplements coming out that I want. |

That's exactly right Wooly .
It was that consideration as well that formed part of my decision not to bother with Heroes of Battle.
As a quick aside from this though... Wooly, are you picking up Interstellar Players? I've heard it has just completed its first run at the printers.

I am quite looking forward to that tome, and also to 3055 Upgrades. Those are like some FR tomes have been -- I've been looking forward to them since I first heard about them (particularly the TRO, since I've got every single one published, both original and revised). |

Well met
Having just had a quick thumb through the latest issue of Dragon magazine, I noticed WotC are putting out a special box of the Races series of core books (Races of Stone, Races of Destiny and Races of the Wild), entitled Race Series Collection.
This goes on sale in October at $89.95. I have all the tomes myself so obviously won't be going for this box set.
I wouldn't be surprised to see a Complete Series Collection in the near future, containing Complete Warrior etc.
In addition, we are to see a Special Edition DM Guide, leatherbound, as per the Special Edition PHB, coming in at $74.95.
Furthermore, a totally new product - Three-Dragon Ante ($14.95, October). Box containing a 72-card deck and rulebook. Being a simple card game (non-collectable).
These, and more, are all detailed fully in the "D&D Buyers Guide" at the back of the magazine. |
