I worked it into my githyanki invasion campaign. I dumbed down Bazim a bit, since his incineration attack was so lethal. He can wipe out a party with little effort if the DM is rude enough, what with his power word kills and whatnot. I dropped the CR along with the difficulty, just so I didn't have to end the campaign with a bloody mess. The beast of nine flames was an interesting challenge. It was fun running through the slaad and other guardians. The minotaur cleric/half-fiend was also a memorable battle. Bazim is rough with his two heads. Good luck. |
"That's right, hurl back views that force ye to think by name-calling - 'tis the grand old tradition, let it not down! Anything to keep from having to think, or - Mystra forfend - change thy own views!"
Narnra glowered at her father. "Just how am I to learn how to think? By being taught by you?"
"Some folk in the Realms would give their lives for the chance to learn at my feet," Elminster said mildly. "Several already have."
