After reading Elaine's thread here at Candlekeep I'm thinking they may be scheduled for different days ...

Funny, but I thought the same thing when I read this earlier in the day. :)

For some of us, books are as important as almost anything else on earth. What a miracle it is that out of these small, flat, rigid squares of paper unfolds world after world, worlds that sing to you, comfort and quiet and excite you... Books are full of the things that you don't get in real life - wonderful, lyrical language, for instance, right off the bat. - Anne Lamott, Bird by Bird

I make three scribes who had the same thought.

Hmmm....well, since we'll have them both all weekend...perhaps seperate panels are in order?

Though I must have missed this reading EC's thread.

Side note: If you were to attend the con, what type of panels related to FR would you want to see?

:) Maybe

And hmmmm for Elaine maybe ask her to discuss how she writes, comes up with stories, etc. So like a writing seminar?

SKR. I don't know.... Don't really care for him but guess you could bring up the new planes. But ya'll only get him annoyed with that.

Well, from an FR perspective, Elaine's forum would naturally revolve around her upcoming Waterdeep novel with Ed and what it was like writing in collaboration with him. From there you could move onto topics related to what she would like to write about in the Realms, etc.

As for SKR, you might want to ask him if he's got any FR projects in the pipeline, some of his thoughts regarding FR work he's done and perhaps a look at the challenges faced by writers working in a shared world environment like the Realms.

Just a few suggestions.

Thanks kuje31 and George. (I think I'll stay away from the planes...somehow that seems a bit like asking RA Salvatore about Chewbacca.)

I appreciate the suggestions and will continue to welcome anyone's thoughts!

Speaking of Sean K. Reynolds, Monte Cook's site has a new interview available featuring this designer. Perhaps reading it might inspire some questions.

Hi all,

Just a quick unfortunate announcement.

Due to personal reasons, Elaine has had to cancel her appearance at Stellarcon.
