I was looking through a copy of UA in a store today and was wondering if any of you guys use the Specialist Wizard variants in Unearthed Arcana?

Comments/Experiences?

Do you think UA is worth getting?

The Specialit Wizard varients look like it does a better job then the PHB rules for specialist wizard rules

Occasionally-they are quite good.

Yes.

UA is amazing, and is probably the first book I'd recommend to a new player looking for a supplement.

Bloodlines and totem classes. Very nice. I wish they would have given the means to create a totem class rather than giving us a set number, but it can be peiced together.

I use my own variant of the Wizard specialist classes, but it is based upon the ones from UA. I also use a lot of their varient magic rules and a few other classes and races as well. Especially the climate variant races. To me, this tome is a must have.

I'm using a rogue/shadow shaper (illusionist varient) in a PbeM.

Hell hath no fury like all of Candlekeep rising in defense of one of its own.

Download the brickfilm masterpiece by Leftfield Studios! See this page for more.
