Woohoo! Rhauligan's back! And the emphasis on the common folk, well that's just Realmslore to be prized. In my opinion seeing 'through the commoner's eyes' is the perfect way to come to understand the Realms as a real, living and breathing world. That and I've been trying to get a handle on what it means to be a commoner in Cormyr for some time now.
My Lady, could you perhaps give us one more little titbit? Where abouts in particular is this place in 'upland Cormyr'? |

Ah my Lady, you've made a young man blush...
Thanks once again for being the bearer of great Realmslore. Having you constantly fulfilling that messenger role for us is much appreciated (and so is your teasing )!

’Tis always nice to be appreciated. Dear, dear lad. Come over here where you can . . . appreciate me properly. Oh, yes, and just to impart some useful Realmslore in this otherwise utterly salacious post: the tale also briefly features a Knight of Myth Drannor. Just one, but being quite forceful.
 (merrily) love to all, THO

My Lady... what can i say to that? Apart from of course i'll come and sit a bit closer to you!
What i will do is add my voice to those already wondering which Knight may be appearing in Ed's Best Of... and i find myself curious as to why it would be just one Knight and not more...
GH
P.S. Another thing i've wondered, Lady, ever since i came here; I'd like to see a picture of what you look like in real life, whether you're concealing your identity under your hood or not. Of course it would just be for curiosity's sake, you understand! |

I'm not implying it should be a... rude... photo, my Lady! Just one to put an appearence (though given your screen name, perhaps not a face) to the flirtatious posts you deliver with such flair.

For me, the strength of that last tale are the cameos by hitherto-faceless common folk. You get a sense of how they feel and talk, useful for roleplaying, of course. And as for the photo: I’d love to, and rude (as you might have guessed) wouldn’t bother me in the slightest, but . . . I cannot. I will, however, start working on loopholes, I promise. love, THO |

Thanks THO... this intrigues me greatly... I've long tried to capture the common-folk of Cormyr (and the surrounding regions) as accurately as possible to provide a 'grounding' to my Realms sessions.
GH
P.S. Sad to hear that we can't see an image of you. Suffice to say, whilst a rude pic certainly wouldn't upset me, i didn't mean it in that sense. I prefer to treat Ladies with more graciousness than that! |

A picture of Her Hoodedness might endanger Canadian national security, so that's out.
Maybe a picture of the hood could be managed, or the boots or the handcuffs. |

Hey, Lady Hooded, I'm getting restless for more flirtaXXX...ahem, teasers and tidbits about this er (can't believe I'm using this next word) seminal Realms collection. May we prevail upon thy boundless courtesy, beauteous lady? |

Blueblade, dear, you may prevail upon me ANYtime. I’ll flirt with you shamelessly, even wantonly . . . but I must confess I’m clean out of tidbits to share about the forthcoming “Best of Eddie” book. Other than to say I HATE the faces of Storm and The Simbul on the cover illustration (their bodies, now, neither I nor many male gamers, I trow, will have any complaints about!). However, let me use some these “womanly wiles” I have, ah, lying around, on Ed of the Greenwood, and we’ll see what he might just let slip . . . love, THO

Hello, all Realms fans. The story roster of The Best of Eddie is now posted on the WotC product page for the book. A handful of "Realms of" reprints (ALL "lightly revised," Ed tells me) and a lot of new tales. love, THO |

Ah, one of my favorites from Ed's short stories . Realms of Infamy as I recall...
Some of the new tales sound particularly intriguing, if their titles are anything to go by.

Also, as I recall, this story was originally published in the online FR novel archives at WotC.
You recall correctly. It's still there, in fact. |
