| Nessian Hellhound would fit the them (kind of) and allow them to do a new and better hellhound. |

Hello-
I guess I should be glad that I actually was able to get that one out of a box!
However - if I ever want to try and get Complete sets - I fear i will have to do some magically-enhanced trading - OR purchase the last few online.
I really wish i had managed to get the Huge Red from GoL. I got the gold - but not the red. Actually - as a sub-set of minis - I think trying to get all the dragon minis might be cool. :)
As it stands now - I own but 68% of the released minis. (*Thanks to the dowloadable minis list!*) Most of my biggest holes are (*not surprisingly*) in Harbinger. I dont even have a formal checklist for it! (*does anyone have one? Did they actually make one?*)

I am collecting the D&D Minis. I would be more than willing to trade with people. You can send me a PM here with your email listed - and I can send you my minis list. Thanks!
Successfully traded with Xysma! |

VAMPIRE DIRE WOLF! AAAAAAAAAAAARGGGGGGGGGGGH! HOW BLOOOOODY STUPID.
F&^%!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it's nearly the same as that other freakin' dire wolf!!!!
Why can't they bloodddddddy give me some guy riding a horse? some guy riding a griffon?
I know there's a guy riding a horse, and an elf riding an eagle, and a drow riding a lizard, and a halfling riding a dog and a [Mod Deleted Expletive] dinosaur... but geez! we need more of those, and more of the classic/epic/nice/heroic types! something to inspire chivalry and something that spells adventurer! guy with a rope throwing a grappling hook, anyone?
If you keep giving us monsters, at LEAST give us workable, useful classic D&D monsters, and stop making the few out there freagggggin RARES!!!
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGHH!

Mod Note: We try to be friendly for a wide range of ages, and to maintain a certain level of accessability. Let's be careful with the language, even if it was spelled phoenetically. |

Apparently theres a Vampire template in Ghostwalk CS book that you can apply to animals
The Dire Wolf doesnt look that "Vampiry" and its an Uncommon not a rare
The orginal Dire Wolf appeared in Giants of Legend 2 years ago and it was a rare (which needless to say makes it difficult and costly for a DM to get the 5-8 you need to cover a wandering monster encounter)
Apparently the Mounted figures Rare status is due to cost a mounted figure has more paint steps then a regular figure so they have to make them rares.
I do agree they need to lay off the more wacky stuff and do more Knight on horse back, Wizard on Horse back etc
The ideal solution would be to do the iconics: Jozan, Ember, Milee etc riding horses as minis |

Marvelous idea! and one that wouldn't offend the marketing geniuses who belched this rather stupid 'iconic figures' concept in the first place... |

I'm still staying away. Barely. I was at my hobby store last week fingering a Blood Wars booster and then resolutely put it back on the shelf. I just have to keep reminding myself of the truckload of money I spent/wasted on Magic cards.

Hello-
Ah yes - the money pit that was Magic Cards!
I will admit - I was lucky - since I have a 'collector' mentality - trying to get full sets... which I did save for 1-2 Mox's....
But - the expansions kept coming - and I really could not keep spending the money - so....
A friend of mine and I sold our good cards pre-ebay in a sort-of message-thread auction thing about 11 years ago.
One guy in Germany bought about 3K worth of cards from us. As it turned out (since the friend was handling the money at the time) the 3K was about equal to my share. that ended up being the deposit on my car - which I just retired a few weeks ago - with 270,000 miles on it - 220K of which I put on. So I like to think that in the long run - Magic was good for me. :)
George - I definately haer you though - I resisted the minis for a short while - but we sell them at work and I get a discount.....
I will also say though - that I dont have a full set of any of the editions as of yet, and likely for most - never will. Maybe the last 3-4 have a chance I suppose.
6 short in Blood War - I'm hoping to do a little better with Unhallowed.
As a thought george - consider going online after a set comes out - and spending a little money to buy a set of the commons - and maybe even the uncommons. You would not spend all that much - and some of them you might be able to use duplicates of - and that way - it could help in the P&P gaming sessions (I know I love using them!)
Perhaps some trading in the future will be in order!

George, if you play with minis the money ain't wasted. I got an orc horde together now (some 70 or 80 minis) that will help me play out the reclamation of the Citadel of Many Arrows |

Hello-
I was just reading through the feb game trade mag - and i see the following minis listed for Unhallowed:
Gorgon, Pseudodragon, Beholder Lich, Count Strahd Von Zarovich & Van Richten.
At least a couple of these dont seem to be in your list on P1.
Question Dargoth - what order are the minis on that list for the upcoming Unhallowed? Is it just the order you/we found out about them?
