Greetings all,
I am certainly a new fellow here, and I am very proud to be a member of Candlekeep. Lone am I, and a rogue I am, most certainly.

Welcome friend, though as the wise Alaundo has said, I hope you have left your roguish tendancies at the gates. My justice is swift and decisive, particularly in the dark cellars You must be famished. Tis only a shame that Frey's not here with some cookies. I've been told they're the best! |

Well met Exilion,
And welcome to this increasingly busy corner of Faerun. Hope you will find this library a pleasant break in your travels.
<looks in the direction of Alaundo and Kitira, slightly scowling>
Sometimes folk read too much in a word, why does everyone seem to associate rogue with 'larceny'...
<scowl disappears, replaced by a friendly smile>
But all in all Alaundo and Kitira are very good folk to be around with |

The tomes of Candlekeep fetch a very high price in the world outside of these walls, you can never be too careful with rogues around, no matter how innocent they may seem Wolves in sheeps clothing mayhaps?! Ahem, no offense meant of course Exilion |

Which begs the question, why do demi-humans associate human with 'stupidity'? <G> |

Ahh, Welcome to Candlekeep, the best place for lore and cookies of the best quality.
Makes a few markings on the wall, only readable for another acquirer of exquisite goods. (if you don’t want to scramble through a horde of books) “Hello friend, it’s nice to see another soul of the shadows. I wouldn’t try anything with the books since I keep a close eye on this keep and it possessions." |

Welcome, Exillion. I hope you find the knowledge you seek here in Candlekeep. If not, you should at least hang around to sample some of Frey's cookies. |

'Okay, okay' sighs Frey with a smile, 'So my cookies grew famous as it seems.' There's a naughty gleam in her eyes, and her smile broadens. 'So it seems I learned something useful from my father after all. Well, I'll fetch some in a minute.' And with a glance at Alaundo she adds: 'Hope we've enough flour in here, with this high demand we use more than we used to.' |
