Sure they are not just pre-sales? Some Ebay sellers are quite adapt at burying that within a listing.
There were at least two different sellers, and none of the auctions I looked at mentioned pre-sales.
Lost Empires of Faerűn was also on eBay a day or two before it hit the shelves of my FLGS. |

D'oh! I wanted to be the first scribe to have it...
If it's available at noon, I'll be buying it then. So what if I can't read it until 5:30? |

I haven't been able to track down any further details about an Australian release for CoS. Dargoth, Krash... have either of you had any luck?

Ah so you have it!
Is there any mention of Sangalor a Mind Flayer Cleric of Oghma in CoS?
(I imagine it would under Oghmas church in Waterdeep or Skullport if anywhere) |

My gaming store hasn't received any communications from WotC Sydney that anything new is available - that was today, 16 June 2005.

This is indeed true... But my boss sits in the same room, and I don't think he'd take too kindly to me openly reading at work. Since jobs are necessary to buy Realmslore, I shan't take that chance.
Besides, I already push it with all the editing and scribing of my own stuff that I've done at work! |

Only thing I have found thus far is just a stat line listing him as Sangalor of the Secrets (LN Illithid Cleric 12 of Oghma) |

Well, I just got home from work... And of course, the first section I had to check out was the Lords of Waterdeep.
Asper, who Ed had named as a Lord, was not listed.
Khelben was -- it mentioned his resignation, and said it had been brief.
Brianne Byndraeth was a new addition. It mentions that her husband, Carril, was a crime lord and a Lord of Waterdeep who was murdered by a black dragon. Now, here's the part I really like -- these details are all from the Advanced Dungeons & Dragons comic!
And, even better... Kyriani Agrivar has recently joined the Lords of Waterdeep! I've said more than once that I'd make her a Lord, and now it's official.
Oh, and on the credits page, under Additional Design, the esteemed sage Steven Schend is listed. |

The book needs an index though. I think Wotc has SOME nerve wasting the backpage on a "Buy Me" list for friends and family. |

I think I'll stick with the name Force Gray. It sounds a lot cooler.
While I am pleasantly surprised at the length of the People of Waterdeep chapter (50+ pages!), I'm surprised at how small the Waterdeep Locales chapter is (about 20 pages). |

Now for the CoS-based question... Does the tome present any further details about the walking statues -- that is, besides what was posted as a preview on the WotC site?

Be nice if ALL the books had an Index.
Yeah, I miss the days of having an index in each tome. |

An index? What are those? Do they even exist these days? I thought they went the way of the dinosaurs. |

Perhaps the thought being locales had been given a good amount of coverage in previous products? |

Yes. It gives some more info on the one every knows about, and where the other ones are kept when they're not in use. |

Actually, there's two more pages of ads, too. The last page is the "Buy Me" list SirUrza mentioned. |
