Viper's Kiss all the way! As I've said many times before Lisa Smedman is my favorite "new" Realms author and quickly becomming one of my all time fav's. I loved Venom's Taste and cannot wait for the sequel! |

I have to say I'm rather looking forward to Maiden of Pain. |

I've voted for Queen of Depth. At first thought about Watercourse part 1, but a whole novel focused on the Umberlee, should be very very enjoyable (maybe because of all the evil gods Umberlee is my favourite) |

I chose Maiden of Pain because I want to see how the contest writer (Howdy Kameron!) fairs. I will want to read the others, eventually, but none will go to the top of the list as fast as this, except maybe Viper's Kiss. |

Well, all of these seem interesting, really. Here's the order in which I'm most interested in:
1. Maiden of Pain-- Gotta see what Kameron's got for us to see. 2. Realms of the Dragons 11-- I'm deeply interested in seeing what these new FR authors have. 3. Viper's Kiss-- Loved Venom's Taste. Can't wait for this one. 4. Master of Chains-- Though I didn't like his short story in Realms of Shadows, I still wanna see what Lebow's done with the Fighters. Plus, it's a cool-sounding title 5. Queen of the Depths-- Mildly interested in what chaos Umberlee's throwing around. 6. Watercourse-- Don't know what it's about, so couldn't really vote on it. All I know is its release date and author. |

Maiden of Pain or Realms of Dragons 2?
It's a difficult choice, but I'll have to go with Maiden. A novel will be able to provide a more developed story.
Still, it'll be nice to see what those new FR authors have done. Who can say what will come from the twisted minds of people like Harley Stroh and Ed Gentry? |

All you Queen of the Depths fans, help me out here. What has this novel being the most popular so far? Why is it so anticipated from those who have selected it? I haven't heard word one about the novel yet. |

You never can tell, friend. You never can tell.
As an MoP'er, I am most curious to see what Kam's whipped up for us, but after having talked with some of the other RotDII folks, I am very intrigued to see it as well. It should be something.
Watercourse is going to rule as well. Have you read Annihilation? Athans is darned good and the subject matter sounds very interesting.
Can I split my vote three ways? |

I didn't vote for this one myself, but maybe the author has something to do with it. Voronica has written some excellent stuff for the Realms in the past (although I felt that The Crimson Gold was a little forced towards the end, which i've explained in the relevant topic), but i'm quite looking forward to see how she handles Umberlee It would also be nice to revisit the setting after reading The Threat from the Sea Trilogy a good few years ago. |

I voted for it purely because Ms. Voronica Whitney-Robinson has never steered me wrong. I love her style and her depth as a writer.

Nice to see especially since she had a wonderful and tragic story in Realms of the Dragons. |

Tough choices, considering that I don't have much familiarity with these novels. The one that I picked has to the Master of Chains, as I've always been interested in the Fighter Series. I can't wait to see how that turns out. |

That makes two. Although I'm currently in the middle of Priests book 1 Maiden of Poison? I think that's the name of it. |

Does that make it the first entry for the most anticipated FR novel for 2006? |

No, the first Knights of Myth Drannor book, Swords of Eveningstar or whatever it ends up being called, will be out then. We've waited for that for 17 years, and known about it specifically since November 2002. Other 2006 novels are known too. |

I voted for Master of Chains. I didn't know much about it but once I read the plot synopsis I was hooked. |
