I am running a campaign in the High Forest in which my players are exploring a magical stronghold in the Star Mounts originally built by the Sharrven. The stronghold dates from the Crown wars between Sharrven(with allied Earlann) and Siluvanede. It was later abandoned when Sharrven fell.

My question is twofold. What do people think of this ancient Sharrven tower being used later by Earlann. Its located on the westernmost of the Star Mounts. As far as I can determine this puts it outside of the realm of Earlann.

The second question has to do with any Sharrven artifacts/magic the PCs might find in the tower. Are there any magical items that might be considered archetypical? Not obvious ancient Elf magic like Telkira or Moonblades, but anything just as Elfy and perhaps a little less powerful? I'd love any ideas.

I'm thinking of hiding some scrolls of ancient Sharrven spells in the tower as well. I know the mages of Sharrven were adept at dragon shaping. If I remember right, there is a high level dragon shape spell from a Volo's guide. I'm thinking of creating a spell that turns the caster's hand into a dragon's claw(maybe a 3rd level spell?) and maybe some other dragon related spells. Are there any other canon spells that might belong to the Sharrven?

thanks for any ideas.
