Ý just wanted to know your comment about things below:
Event happened in a military camp.
Camp was settled near a magical zone. Many people went in but non came.
A Paladin of Torm was in charge of camp and he calls for help...
From a nearby monastery an order of Monks answered it and sent an
experienced monk...
When Monk got to the camp area He founds out that a red wizard was staying in the camp.when he got the subject to the Paladin he responded that Red Wizards has send a mage to prove that thay had
no bonds with this particular magical zone...Monk got pissed off
and asked that how a paladin allowed this...Paladin answered that he had nothing to do 'cause his officers in the church allowed and told him not to do anything but allow this mage in the camp...Monk got very angry because he couldn't believe that a paladin acted like this
he threatened the paladin telling this to church of torm paladin told him that they already knew about it...also paladin told monk that he had to obey orders in the camp and to not act like rebel...so monk left the camp..
What do you say?can a paladin act like this?or Ýs monk wrong in this subject?

I think that there is no actual solution to this. Buf if I were that Paladin I would try to quit my post at that point and request a move to another post. If I could not get my way as a Lawful-good person I would let that red wizard in my encampment but as a prisoner.

"I can see what would befall me as I see what would befall you!" said a sorcerer just before I slitted his throat, you should have seen the astonishment on his face. It was pretty amusing.

It depends on how one wants to treat the alignments, but not all Red Wizards are evil (despite their reputation) and certainly nowadays (1372 DR) they have become a little more accepted in society.

In any case, the paladin is not necessarily wrong. He is performing his duty and has to respect the fact that the Red Wizards have sent an emmisary to the site. If the monk threatens with disorder in the camp, the Tormite has every right to dismiss the monk and does not violate any behavioural codes. (eventhough on a personal level he might rather see the Red Wizard go instead...)

Negative, if I was that Paladin, I would be whooping some major ass, it just sounds to me like the monk was just sturring up a bunch of crap just to be annoying, I'm going with the Paladin on this one.

I think Mumadar is right, just because the Wizard is there doesn't mean you automatically can assume he's evil or up to something.

Technically even if the wizard is evil as a paladin he can't really do anything based on that. That's the problem with playing LG you have to play by the rules, you can't just go around lopping heads off 'cause you think they might eventually do something evil.

Hell that's kinda evil in and of itself.

Personally I can understand the Monk's perspective but I would expect someone so disciplined to be a little more restrained. (though there's no accounting for personality differences).

Long story short, they are both right but the monk needs to chill out

I agree, I don't think the Paladin should act until the mage does something. The Monk was at fault there.
