Walking Through Mirrors is about to begin.
A realm of ancient evil... A city on the edge... A lost and forgotten warrior... An innocent child's nursery rhyme... A battle between yesterday and tomorrow...
One will be reborn, one will perish, one will bring light to the dark, one will be changed forever, and one will betray an entire world...
In five days, everything you know about the Realms will be forever altered...
There... I bet you're all left hanging now... aren't ya!

It sounds highly intriguing, friend Sage.
But the moment I'm waiting for is the release of the Waterdeep sourcebook! |

I'm going to take a wild guess here just for fun
A realm of ancient evil... will perish. A city on the edge... will be reborn. A lost and forgotten warrior... will be changed forever. An innocent child's nursery rhyme... will bring light to the dark. A battle between yesterday and tomorrow... will betray an entire world.
How many did I get right? Am I close? I can't wait to find out what this is all about I sure hope it's our PbEM! |

Ooh, ooh, my turn!
A realm of ancient evil... will suddenly have a mysterious return!
A city on the edge... will suddenly flip out and go postal on the nearest city.
A lost and forgotten warrior... will suddenly turn up in Lost & Found. "He's always been there, but nobody knew about it!" exclaim Waterdhavian officials.
An innocent child's nursery rhyme... will make absolutely no sense to adults. Do any of them?
A battle between yesterday and tomorrow... will happen on Friday afternoon, right when you're trying to get home from work. It will most likely snarl traffic one mile from your home.
One will be reborn, one will perish, one will bring light to the dark, one will be changed forever, and one will betray an entire world... And he's not going to be invited to many parties, afterward. Besides, that one is obviously way too busy!
In five days, everything you know about the Realms will be forever altered... by another retcon, most likely.
All in good fun, friend Sage. You know I'm as intrigued as the rest of us!

Yes! this is finally happening!! I can't wait to get started!
Now, it's been a long, long while, so I'm going to request that everyone who will be a PLAYER in this campaign shoot a bump post under the PBeM with Sage thread. Screen name, character's name, race and class levels would also be much appreciated, as I really don't remember a thing about most participants...

I think I should like to watch, as well... I've never done a PBeM, so I've no knowledge of how it's done. So I want to see how it goes. |

Actually, it partly relates to my PbEM campaign being set up here at Candlekeep. I believe MuadDib has already pointed this out.
However, it also relates to a piece of fiction that I began about a year and a half ago which I have used as the basis for the plot for the campaign, so you're right about that as well Rad. Both the story and the campaign have developed as part of the ongoing plot development, and so, unfortunately, the story cannot be posted until the campaign is complete since it will likely reveal everything about the campaign that I've written.

You're all likely to see both. However, only those who participate completely in the campaign will have been exposed to the storyline before the work itself is posted here.

Very interesting interpretation, Fletch.
All I will say at this point... is that one of your assumptions is correct...
It's up to you, to try and guess which one. I'll provide a hint though, I've speculated about the specific assumption in another scroll.

Only one? Well I was just guessing, mainly what I myself would want to happen. Knowing you if I wanted to really guess the way I think you may twist the story I would have to completely re-do my guesses hehe. It was all just in fun I'll try not to think about it anymore as I like to be surprised |

Oh, there'll be twists...
In fact, this campaign is so "twist-filled", it's makes the astrophysical concept of quantum foam look like the surface of a compact disc...
