Maybe it's just a bit overdoing, to promote another forum on a really good forum. If you really want people to Register to your own forum, you have to have really good arguments for people to switch.
Don't get me wrong, I don't want to piss you off, it's just an opinion/hint. |

I didn't think it would matter as my forum is hardly a rival considering it's got nowt to do with FR at all.

Please dont take offence TDM, maybe people didnt come over from this forum to yours for that very fact.... its not an FR board. Im sure your forum will be great but you have to hit the right audiences, maybe try the associated newsgroups or other sites to do with that sort of thing?

Yeah I expect so. I was hoping people would sign up to boost my numbers rather than critising (Yet again Echon  ). I have got a couple of member found their way of their own accord, I'm now working on a mailing list of my eBay clients.
