Hi guys,
Hoping you can help me out.
I am currently looking for the exact location of Klauthen Vale, home of the red dragon 'Klauth' and/or Raven Rock.
I've got the campaign setting and a few maps, but the descriptions I am given are vague at best as neither are marked on those maps. Just wondering if any of you have pinpointed the location on a map... maybe when you were bored, sedated or something one day.

It is pinpointed on a map-namely, one of the maps from the supplement The North(which is available for free download from Wizards' site). However, I can tell you where it is on the map that came with the FRCS 3e.
In the left-most top panel of the map, find Blackford Road(connects Luskan and Mirabar). The River Mirar runs along it. As it runs along Blackford Road, the river meets up with two other rivers coming down from the Spine of the World. The one closer to Luskan is called Black Raven River, and at its headwaters is Raven Rock.

No problem. Klauth's lair, therefore, should be somewhere to the north of the Rock. |
