I remember reading somewhere that the baby king of Cormyr has a pet kitten which is really a dragon bodyguard. And when some poeple gated into kill the baby, she killed them as they gated in.
It also mentioned Dragons moving into the stonelands.

I cannot find where i read this. Can anyone help?

It is a very good piece of writing. Thanks for the link, when I first read it, the article did not have the Draconomicon elements.

No, thank you!!!

I found your selection of implemented dragons from Chapter 5 pretty thorough in covering some of the most intriguing dragons presented, excpet for Keicjannicarayas.

I placed her beneath the south Sunrise Mountains, in the Underdark abyss known as the Ramparts of Night. The titan was imprisoned during the Dawn Cataclysm... and possibly know the secrets of that event.

Just thought I'd share!

Dargoth, in your article about the Church of Bahamut, you said something about Vangerdashast being struck down. I haven't read the Return of the Archwizards novels myself so I don't know what exactly happen other than that the Shades were defeated and Tilverton was destroyed.

So is Vangerdahast dead now?

No, he makes an appearance and a good hint at what's to come for the character is revealed in Elminster's Daughter.

Damn you people! All you are doing is making me want to spend more money on FR novels to find out. I bet that at least one or two of you are WotC employees getting the other members to spend our money... Lol.

No, of course not. If you check out the WotC forums, you'll see that even their employees can't discuss novels.

(Looks around to make sure there are no assassins with poisoned daggers to silence him)

Anyways, back to the topic. Does anyone know where I can find more indepth information on Bahamut?

Bahamut has a write up on pages 32-33 of the Draconomicon.

And a small paragraph of how he fits into the Realms in the downloadable Cult of the Dragon. He also features in the FR adventure The Throne of the Bloodstone - downloadable here.

The best info on him however (generic though it is), comes from the 2e book Monster Mythology and the 3e book Deities & Demigods.

Still have to get the Sembia collection though.

Yes, it will. If you wish to read a sample chapter from Elminster's Daughter, there is one posted on the WOTC novel section.

Hmm

I finally finished Elminsters daughter and it does create some rather interesting ideas and also makes me wonder if theres a link between ED and a certain book by Richard Lee Byers

A good subject to ponder. Are you going to ask RLB in his thread?
