Thanks very much Dargoth! It looks quite good... though I see my hopes they might re-introduce Sess'innek as a demon prince/god are unfounded (probably) without a full Lizardfolk section. I'm still hoping for Shekinester for nagas.
I find the inclusion of 'Faerűnian Ha-naga' and Bone Naga odd... but I don't mind. I am very worried about the level of detail on the Sarrukh. *sigh*
But All in all this is looking very nice - especially in terms of (*fingers crossed, touch wood*) less focus on PrCs. |

Yes, I noticed too that PrCs and Feats didn't seem to take up as many pages as I feared.
Thanks Dargoth for the breakdown. |

Sess'innek is discussed in the context of lizard kings and the khaasta.
Shekinister and Parrafaire (sp?) are discussed in the context of nagas.
There are a bunch of new (mostly dead) deities, and some obscure (dead) ones like Varae and Sss'thasine'ss. --Eric |

While I do agree with you, I think it is highly unlikely. Shekinester has seen some considerable downgrading since the introduction of the 3e cosmology. As I recall, there was even talk of moving her domain from the Outlands...

Bone nagas are redone as a template.
Banelar are redone as real nagas (i.e. aberrations, not magical beasts).
Ha-nagas are reprised from ELH. I haven't gone back to see how/if they differ (other than 3.5e conversion already posted on Wizard site).

YAY!!!!! Wow - I'm buying this tome, no question! Parrafaire was the deity out of the three I actually wanted most, but I didn't dare hope! And I love that there are discussions of dead deities, especially Varae... *Very happy - thanks Mr. Boyd!* |
